Hell in paradise
That’s my lot.
The good life titillates
But does not deliver.
Can’t accomplish being
The doer, the lover, the giver.
From hell to paradise,
In man’s most inhuman time
They endured.
Children born to replace the dead
But with something missing-
The ability to endure.
From paradise to hell-
The Second Generation,
Destined to carry the burden,
And create a new generation.
These golden seeds of hope
Prove that Rebirth
Takes more than one generation
